A Special THANK YOU!
The Bennington Historical Society would like to say "THANK YOU" to the Bennington businesses who sponsored and help sell our 2013 calendar and to all the loyal residents who bought it. We hope you enjoy it. Through those efforts the Society collected over $2,300 and those funds will be used to help establish a small museum to display the history of our community. Our goal is to have an open house at Bennington Daze.
A special thanks goes to: Cubby's, Oft's B&B, Nate's Grill, Sportsman's Food and Spirit, Bank of Bennington, Rx Health Mart, A-Bee Storage, Two Men and a Shop, Quality Dental, Finken & Associates, Paul Bacino DDS, Salon with Sass, Darrell Logemann, Koala-T Daycare and Learning Center, Apollo Mini Storage, T&R Auto, Performance Physical Therapy, Omaha Silk Screen, and Quality Dental Care.
We plan another calendar for 2014 which will feature local organizations or community groups. We are currently looking for group photographs of local individuals who's names are known. So if you have an photo of a club gathering, athletic team, church group, or special event where you know the individuals, please contact us. We're looking for photographs between 1880 to 2000. Again, many thanks and stop by our open house on Main Street during Bennington Daze.
